Send emails from your app

When your app sends confirmations or notifications: three email services compared and how to verify your domain as the sender.

1. Your Geckify app runs without it. You only need it once you or a developer add confirmations or notifications by email.
2. Create a Resend account and verify your domain as the sender (three DNS records at Cloudflare).
3. Store the key as an environment variable at your host.

Three reputable providers — your choice
- Resend
  Free: 3,000 emails a month, at most 100 a day
  Then: Pro $20 a month for 50,000
  own domain required; account data is stored in the US
- Brevo
  Free: 300 emails a day, no card
  Then: Starter from €7 a month
  servers in the EU; free emails carry Brevo branding
- Mailgun
  Free: 100 emails a day
  Then: Basic from $15 a month for 10,000
  EU region available
