Publish your web app: from export to your own address

Take your web app live: check the content, add a name and description, publish and check the public page. Step by step, with commands to copy.

  1. Check the content

    In Geckify
    1. Open every page on desktop and phone. Test buttons, forms and navigation like a visitor.
  2. Enter copy and address

    1. WindowsDownload the web code, then right-click the ZIP file → “Extract All”.
    2. MacDownload the web code and unzip it with a double-click.
    3. Install Node.js (LTS) once – never again after that.
    4. WindowsOpen the unzipped folder, type “cmd” into the address bar at the top and press Enter.
    5. MacIn Finder, right-click the folder → “New Terminal at Folder”.
    6. Paste the two commands below and press Enter after each. A new folder dist appears.
    7. In Cloudflare Pages, create a project with “direct upload” and drag the dist folder in. You get an address right away.

  5. Check the public site

    With the provider
    1. Open the real address in a private window, on desktop and phone. Check links, forms and legal pages.

  • Cloudflare Pages

    Free: static sites without a request limit, 500 builds a month

    Then: $5 a month only for heavy dynamic code

    domains registered at Cloudflare connect directly
  • Netlify

    Free: 300 credits a month (e.g. 4 deploys, 11 GB, 100,000 requests)

    Then: Personal $9 a month

    when the credits run out, every project pauses until the next cycle
  • Vercel

    Free: Hobby: personal use only, not for business sites

    Then: Pro $20 a month

    selling or advertising through the site needs Pro
