1. Scope and status
This statement covers geckify.dev including the builder and the account area. The benchmark is EN 301 549 in conjunction with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Status: see the date above. It is based on a self-assessment by the operator; no external audit has taken place yet.
2. Compliance status
In our assessment the site is partially compliant with those requirements. Implemented are, among other things, full keyboard operability of the website, visible focus indicators, a semantic heading structure, text alternatives for meaningful graphics, labels on every form field and respect for the reduced-motion system setting.
3. Known limitations
The following points are known to us and not yet fully tested or fixed. We name them instead of claiming blanket accessibility:
- Contrast values of both colour themes have not yet been fully measured against WCAG 1.4.3 and 1.4.11.
- Direct editing on the builder canvas assumes pointer input; a fully equivalent keyboard and screen-reader path for that area is still missing.
- The device previews (iOS, Android) are not equivalently accessible to screen readers.
- Some views have not been tested above 200% zoom.
- Legal texts exist in German and English, not in plain language or sign language.
4. Report a barrier
Report barriers, missing information or content you cannot access informally by email to support@geckify.dev or through the contact form. We confirm receipt within one working day and answer in substance within two weeks. Please name the page concerned and, if possible, the assistive technology you use.
5. Enforcement procedure
If you are not satisfied with our answer you can contact the German market surveillance authority for the accessibility of products and services (MLBF), Fritz-Elsas-Strasse 31, 39112 Magdeburg, Germany. Contact details and the procedure are described on its website.
